Holiday Reading List 2014

reading-by-fireThere’s a chill in the air, and outside Bas Bleu’s office windows the leaves are beginning to blush and fall. As the days grow shorter and the nights stretch towards winter, we find our thoughts turning to hot beverages, crackling fires, cozy sweaters…and, of course, good books to read!

This week while you’re raking leaves and marveling at the crystal-blue autumn skies, our Holiday 2014 catalog is headed your way, packed full of carefully selected books and gifts to help you get a jump on your holiday shopping. (Yes, it’s still October. But we believe in tackling our gift lists early, so we can kick back and enjoy the season with friends and family come December.)

To help pass the time until the mail carrier arrives, we’re offering you this sneak peek at a dozen of the more than one hundred new items from our Holiday issue. For a brief “teaser,” hover your mouse pointer over the book cover; or, click on the image to read the full review on our website.

Jane and the Twelve Days of Christmas   Flirting with French  The Crossword Century

Light Upon Light   A Tangled Web   Art of the English Murder

Good Dog  Mr. Churchill's Secretary  Village of Secrets

The Story of Santa Claus Mademoiselle: Coco Chanel and the Pulse of History How to Eat

Be sure to check back again next week (same bat time, same bat place) when we announce the line-up for our 2015 Book a Month series!
