Words of Thanksgiving

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and while we do enjoy giant parade balloons, football games, and fighting Uncle Frank for the last spoonful of sweet potato casserole, we live out the spirit of the holiday when we gather to give thanks and break bread with family and friends. For those of you called on to bless the table at your Thanksgiving gathering or for those simply trying to honor the day as more than a lead-up to Black Friday madness, we’ve collected a baker’s dozen of quotations from kindred bookish spirits.

And to all of you who supported Bas Bleu and celebrated the bluestocking life with us this year: Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
